Little Karoo Ltd was established by John and Gill Millward in 1998 developed out of an interest in game meats and processed goods. The range now includes Ostrich, wild Pork and Venison, Eel, Rabbit, Hare, Kangaroo, and Crocodile.  A range of hot and cold smoked sausages, pepperoni's and New Zealands only genuine Beef Bresaola.

Identifying an opportunity in the market, we set up Great Taste NZ to define NZ cuisine worldwide.

Little Karoo represents a cluster of unique NZ companies and their products at hospitality level. These innovative NZ ingredients are used within menus, to identify a dish as being uniquely New Zealand (Great Taste NZ)

By partnering with a range of food category companies these unique NZ ingredients are used to add value to local market and export products. Indigenous NZ herbs have been used to create unique NZ relishes & chutneys, herbal teas, breads, chocolates, heat  and eat mussels, and oils.
