Little Karoo Ltd was established in 1996 by John and Gillian Millward. We started out as a small business focussed on ostrich farming and meat supply, with the interest in exotic meats beginning to grow in the New Zealand restaurant scene. This lead us to expand into a wider range of exotic and game meats.
After 20 years of business the goal of using NZ ingredients to define NZ cuisine is well established and we are proud and privileged to work with our NZ artisan cluster companies to further drive this vision. This would not have been possible without the support of passionate, talented NZ Chefs who have helped along the way.
